Residence Life Personnel

Steve Morley, Associate Dean of Students, Director of Residence Life
Steve is a full-time student development professional who is a member of the university faculty. Duties include supervision of residence life staff, facility management, housing, student discipline and other responsibilities associated with managing a comprehensive residential program. Residence Hall Directors

Residence Hall Directors are most often master's level professionals who serve full time, directing the residence halls. They also are members of the university faculty. Some of their duties include supervision of student staff, crisis intervention, planning and implementing educational programs and social activities, assisting residents in all aspects of their spiritual, academic and personal growth.

Assistant Residence Hall Directors  serve in the four largest residence halls on campus. This person most often is a recent graduate of Taylor who is working on a Master's degree. The primary function of the assistant hall director is to support the residence hall director in managing the residence hall program.

Personnel Assistants

P.A.s are most often juniors and seniors who provide leadership on each floor and/or wing of the residence hall. P.A.s are carefully selected on the basis of experience, maturity and demonstrated ability to work with students, either individually or in a group. It is their responsibility to be resource persons for residents, to facilitate campus communication, to help maintain an atmosphere conducive to successful academic achievement, and to assist residents with personal problems. 

Women's Programming

Women's Programming seeks to provide campus wide learning opportunities designed to raise awareness of issues specifically related to women.

Meleca Consultado will begin her first year this August as the Graduate Director for Women's Programming.
